Celebration of First Holy Communion at Holy Redeemer Church Belthangady

Belthangady, May 22 : The First Holy Communion ceremony for 10 children of the Holy Redeemer Church Belthangady was held on the 21st of May 2023 during the 8:00 am mass. Rev Fr Walter D'Mello Parish Priest was the Main Celebrant of the mass, Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, Principal, Rev Fr Preetham Rego, Rev Fr Henry Madtha, Rev Fr Jesudas and Rev Fr Joyson Saldanha concelebrated the Mass.

After the Eucharistic Celebration, all the children were presented with Rosary, scapular and a certificate as a remembrance of their First Holy Communion Day.

After the mass Rev Fr Clifford Pinto introduced and welcomed new parish Priest Rev Fr Walter Oswald D'Mello to parishioners. Parish priest Rev Fr Walter D'Mello honoured Rev Fr Preetham Rego who has served the church for 6 months as Deacon.
