Belthangady, Dec. 24 : Pastoral visit of Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha to St Peter Claver Church Arva was held on 22-23, December 2018.

Parish priest Fr Naveen Pinto solemnly welcomed bishop to the parish. During the visit around 67 children received the sacrament of confirmation. Bishop blessed the cemetery , anoited the sick people, met parish council members and  members of various associations. Bishop visited school, convent, house of the sick person, attended ward meeting in the parish and also visited Nalkur chapel and prayed for the people.
