Farewell ceremony organised for Fr Simon Dsouza at St Antony's Church, Naravi

Belthangady, May 18, 2023 : A farewell ceremony was organised for the outgoing parish priest of St Antony Church, Naravi Rev Fr Simon Dsouza, who has served the parish for six years and is now being transferred to Peruvai Church. College Principal Rev Dr. Alwyn Serrao remembered the selfless service of Fr Simon and wished him well.

The vice-president of the parish pastoral council Mr. Sanjay Miranda, Secretary Mrs. Eugene Rodrigues, Superior Sister Mary Celine Misquith were present on the dais and honoured the outgoing parish priest. The priest was also honored by various associations. Mr. Vincent Rodrigues compered the program. All the devotees of the church participated in this program.

A farewell ceremony was also organized at St Antony's Educational Institutions, Naravi for the outgoing correspondent Rev Fr Simon D'Souza, who has worked hard to provide quality education in the educational institutions for six years by giving his unprecedented service. All the teachers, lecturers and students of the graduate college attended the program.

Correspondent was honored for his services in educational institutions by presenting him with a shawl, fruits and mementos. The principal, heads of all educational institutions, vice-president of the parish pastoral council and secretary were present on the dais.

Principal Rev Dr. Alwyn Serrao was the coordinator of the program and Mr. Avinash Lobo compered the program. High School Teacher Mr. Johnson D'Cunha welcomed and English Medium School Teacher Mrs. Lidwin Monis deliverd the vote of thanks.
