Bantwal, Oct 8 : ICYM Nainad unit participated in ‘Ant-Drug March’ on 1st October 2023 in the premises of St. Francis Assisi Church, Nainad.

The march commenced at 9.15 am. The march started from the church portico and went through Shashank cashew industry , Nainad and returned to Nainad junction. Rev Fr. Anil Avild Lobo , Mohammed Fazil and Gram Panchayat PDO Yamunappa Koravara were the dignitaries for the program. Volunteers carried flashcards with slogans in Kannada and English, such as “Drive Against Drugs” in order to create awareness among the public.

The month of September has been dedicated as Anti-Drug Month, to create awareness about the abuse of drugs, by the Diocese of Mangalore.
