Bantwal, Aug 23 : ICYM unit of St. Francis Assisi Church, Nainad along with parish Catholic Sabha and Sthree Sanghatan units, Shree Rama Yuvaka Sangha Nayanadu, Geleyara  Balaga Kolakkebailu, Nayanadu Milk producers co-operative society , Rural development committee Pilathabettu ,  other associations with the help of Father Muller Medical College hospital Kankanady, organised free health checkup and blood donation camp on Sunday, 20 August 2023 at St. Joseph primary school , Nayanadu.

On the propitious day,  Rev Fr. George Jeevan Sequiera marked his honorable presence and lit the lamp to declare the free health checkup and blood camp "open".

Several doctors from different departments such as general medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, OBG , paediatric and other departments offered the services. Around 215+ people got examined and were provided free health checkup and medicines and 52 donors donated their blood .

Denary red drop representative, Mangalore diocese red drop representative, Belthangady denary president and all the committee presidents and members supported in the coordination of the camp. It was a proud moment on the successful organization.
