Madanthyar, March 26 : On the occasion of Lenten season, Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar unit organized Taize prayer for the parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar on Sunday 24th March 2024, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The prayer was led by Fr William Dsouza, assistant parish priest. Taize prayer centered around the Holy Cross which involves special prayers, recital of hymns, blessings on intentions, liturgical readings.

The altar was beautifully decorated by the ICYM members with lightened lamps. Everybody had a wonderful and divine experience of Jesus amidst the lit lamps during one-hour prayerful session. A large number of youths and parishioners actively participated in the prayer.
