Kinnigoli, July 28 : "From Little Saplings to Mighty Trees : Nurturing Life for a Healthier Planet"

On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the ICYM Niddodi along with Catholic Sabha and Environmental Commission celebrated "Laudato Si Sunday" at Little Flower Church Niddodi. The celebration included a Mass and a tree planting ceremony.

The rain didn’t stop them from planting trees.

Rev. Fr. Denis Suares, director of ICYM inaugurated the ceremony. Valerian Sequeira, President of the Catholic Sabha, planted a sapling along with the parish priest.

Mrs. Hilda, on behalf of the Environment Commission and ICYM, planted a sapling along with Lester Lasrado, Vice President of ICYM. The ICYM and parishioners came together in force to support the event.
