Kirem, Aug 11 : ICYM Kirem unit organized "Ignite - 2022" , a one day programme for the youths of Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem on Sunday 31st July 2022 at Kirem Church Hall.

The programme commenced with a prayer at 9:00AM. Mr. Joswin Dsilva, President, ICYM Kirem unit welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Oswald Monterio , Parish Priest, Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem presided and inaugurated the programme along with Steven Dcunha, vice president of PPC; Maxim Pinto , Secretary of PPC and Santhan D'souza , Convenor of different commissions.

Manjo Fernandes took up the session on the topic "How to be a better communicator” . He also enlightened the parish youths about ICYM and ICYM origin.

Elsita Cardoza , youth president of congress, Aikala; Sudeep D'souza , Leo club president; Venisha Rodrigues , ICYM Red drop Kinnigoli Deanery representative; Hanson Rodrigues , President YCS Kinnigoli Deanery and Gladvin D'souza , YCS Kinnigoli deanery sports secretary were recognised for their service to society and deanery and were felicitated during the occasion by Rev. Fr Oswald Monterio and others.

Special Holy Eucharistic celebration was held for the parish youths.

In the post lunch session, youths were divided into 4 groups. Games and other activities were conducted. All the youths participated with great energy and enthusiasm.

Diocese President Anil Sequeira and team graced the event with their precious presence.

At the end, Vishal Miranda, secretary ICYM Kirem unit proposed vote of thanks. Deepak Serrao compered the program. Program concluded with the ICYM Anthem.
