Bantwal, Sep 11 : On 4 September 2022, ICYM unit of St. John Marie Vianney Church Bambil in collaboration with Catholic Sabha Bambil unit organized Free Medical Health Check up camp in association with Fr Muller medical College hospital, Kankanady and Fr Muller hospital, Thumbay, in the church hall.

The programme commenced with a prayer led by Pranitha Crasta and team. Dr Saritha was the Chief guest of the programme. Rev. Fr Naveen Prakash Dsouza, Parish Priest along with Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President Mrs Shanthi Almeida, Parish Commissions Coordinator Mr Antony Rebello, ICYM President Anna Maria Pinto, Catholic Sabha president Mrs Roopa Miranda were the dignitaries for the inaugural programme.

A total of 40 doctors and nurses from Fr Muller Hospital took part in the camp. Around hundred people got examined and were provided free check up and medicines. General medicine, ENT, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, OBG, Paediatric, Dental, Homeopathy departments offered the services. Villagers from Nornadka, Kempugudde, Kukkuri and nearby places made use of this camp.
