Bantwal, Sep 20 : On the occasion of Nativity of Mother Mary, ICYM Bambil Unit in collaboration with Parish Pastoral Council organized get together programme on Sunday, 16th September 2018 at Bambil Church premises for all the parishioners. The programme began at 3:30pm with various lucky games for the parishioners of all age categories. Special attraction of the day was the tug of war and breaking the pot. Games were systematically conducted by ICYM members and were appreciated by many. Towards the end, Alwyn Veigas ICYM member thanked the parishioners for their support and encouragement.

The second half of the celebration was held in Vianney Sabha Bhavan at 6pm. It began with the prayer led by Ms Melita and group. Mrs Flavia DSouza, Vice president welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira, Parish Priest expressed his happiness for the whole hearted cooperation from the parishioners and for their active participation. He also thanked the organisers, donors and well wishers.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of various games.

Parish pastoral council members as well the children offered flowers to Infant Mary and honoured her. Parish Priest led the prayer over the new corn and later it was mixed with the payasam and was distributed to all.

Mr Joachim Dsouza , Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, ward gurkars, parish pastoral council members and total of 175 parishioners witnessed this unique programme. Ms Ashwitha Pinto compered the programme and Mr Rajesh Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks.
