Bantwal , Sep 10 : Bambil Parish ICYM unit organised YuvaSamavesh 2K18, a youth gathering programme on Sunday 29th July 2018 at 9:00 AM in Vianney church hall for the youth of Bambil Unit under the guidance of parish priest Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira. The day began with the Holy Eucharistic Celebration followed by the breakfast at sharp 9:00 AM.

The programme commenced with a prayer song. Joy Crasta Unit President ICYM Bambil Unit welcomed the gathering. The inaugural programme was presided over by Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira along with the chief guests Neil Dsouza Animator YCS Urwa Unit and Rev Fr Anil Avild Lobo who was also a resource person for the day, Flavy Dsouza Vice - President and Joachim Dsouza Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, Calvin Fernandes President Bantwal Deanery, President and Secretary ICYM Bambil Unit were the dignitaries for the inaugural programme.

The programme was inaugurated by releasing the banner of the programme by the dignitaries on the dais. Flavy Dsouza addressed the gathering and stressed the need of being united in order to keep ICYM members energetic. Rev Fr Johnson L Sequeira addressed the gathering and inspired the youth with his encouraging words and also stressed that youth should be acceptable with love and care. Rev Fr Anil Lobo addressed the youth on the topic “Role of youth in Church and in the society”.

ICYM Mangalore Diocesean Director Rev Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza and Assistant Director Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza and Diocesean President Jaison Leroy Periera Shirthady paid a visit to the programme. Rev Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza addressed the gathering and congratulated the youth for hosting a youth gathering programme.

Vipin Crasta Unit Secretary ICYM Bambil Unit proposed the vote of thanks by thanking all the dignitaries for their presence and love. Lesly Dsouza compered the programme. Neil Dsouza Animator YCS Urwa Unit along with ICYM Urwa unit members conducted games, group dynamics and activities for all the youth. Altogether 45 youth participated in this event.
