Bantwal, Oct 18 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Agrar unit, in collaboration with the Yuva Ayog and Samajik Ayog organized the Agrar Premier League (APL) part 2 ‘Shetacha Kedanth Udkana 2023-24' which took place on October 15 , 2023 at Mr and Mrs Vincent Concepta Dsa's field Athrel Agrar . The games featured different competitions, held among six pre-formed groups.

The event commenced with a stage program, graced by the presence of Rev. Dr. Peter D'Souza, the parish priest of Agrar church. Mr Pius L Rodrigues the guest of honor, Mr and Mrs Vincent and Concepta Dsa, Sr Ida Dsouza, Mr Arun Dsouza vice president and Odrine Dsouza secretary of PPC, Philp Frank animator of ICYM Agrar, Nihan Sequeira president of ICYM Bantwal deanery were present for the inaugural function.

The master of ceremony Delton Lobo skillfully conducted the stage program. Jovin Carlo, the President of ICYM Agrar unit, delivered the warm welcome speech, extending greetings to all attendees. The esteemed guest inaugurated the program and Rev. Dr Peter D'Souza shared inspiring words with the audience. Following this, secretary Nicole Moras delivered an eloquent speech.

Subsequently, the event commenced with march fast by ICYM members and the 6 teams and the games included rede davndovnche, sasiata, wicket game, povli vodchem, pipe game, relay, underpass , tug of war and some individual games.

At the end of the competitions, ICYM Agrar took the opportunity to honor the sponsor and volunteers of the event for their unwavering support and well-wishes.

The valedictory program commenced with a stage program graced by the presence of Rev.Fr. Manohar Norhona, Sr. Lilly Norhona ,Mr and Mrs Vincent and Concepta Dsa, Mr Arun Dsouza, Mithesh Dsouza ICYM president of Mangalore diocese, Melroy Dsouza immediate past president of ICYM Bantwal deanery. The master of ceremony was conducted by Prithesh Carlo. Mrs Concepta Dsa shared their feelings about the event. Following this, joint secretary Glenita Dsa expressed gratitude and delivered the vote of thanks.

In the presence of committee members, the results were unveiled and the prize distribution was conducted by Delton Lobo the auditor.

A wonderful flash mob was performed by ICYM Agrar and the event ended with baila.
