Bantwal, June 27 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Agrar unit organized Vanamahotsava on Sunday, 25th June 2023 in collaboration with the parish Environment and Youth Commission. The program commenced after the Holy Eucharist at The Most Holy Saviour Church, Agrar with Preethesh Carlo as the host. Rev. Dr. Peter Dsouza, Parish Priest presided over the event, accompanied by Mr.Arun Dsouza, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, and representatives from youth and environment commission. Mr. Anil Pinto served as the chief guest, and Fr. Ronald was a guest at the event.

Nicole Moras, the unit secretary welcomed the attendees, followed by the chief guest addressing the gathering and highlighting the significance of Vanamahotsava. Rev.Dr. Peter Dsouza also shared his thoughts on the importance of the program. Subsequently, saplings were distributed to the dignitaries, who, along with ICYM members, planted them around the church premises as a symbolic representation of Vanamahotsava. Saplings were sponsored by Mr. Rakesh Crasta. Additionally, plants were distributed to each family in the church, encouraging their participation in this noble cause.

The program concluded with a vote of gratitude delivered by Unit Auditor Delton Lobo.
