Bantwal : Environment Day and 'Laudato Si' Sunday organised by ICYM Loretto Unit

Bantwal, July 14, 2022 : ICYM Loretto unit celebrated World Environment day on June 5th by cleaning the surroundings of the church premises and by picking up plastics and non-degradable things. ICYM members along with the Animator Mr Alwyn Pinto actively participated in this programme.

Laudato Si Sunday was celebrated on July 3rd along with the Environment Committee and Catholic Sabha. Parish Priest Rev Fr Francis Crasta distributed saplings to all the Gurkars of 14 wards. Apart from that saplings were planted inside the church premises by all the members.

Loretto School Principal Rev Fr Jason Monis, Parish Council Vice President Mr Roy Carlo, Parish Council Secretary and ICYM Animator Mr Alwyn Pinto, Catholic Sabha President Mr John Lasrado , Parisar Ayog President Mr Ignatius Crasta and other members of Catholic Sabha , Parisar Ayog and ICYM were present.
