Bajpe, Jul 31 : ICYM Bajpe organized ‘First Aid Skill Development Program’ on July 24th 2022 at 9 am in the St Joseph church mini hall. Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinho ICYM Bajpe Director, Rev. Dr. Ozmond Roshan D’souza Asst. Director, Santhosh D’souza Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Juliet Moras Secretary, Ashwin Kumar M Resource person, Jollin D’souza ICYM Bajpe President and Princia Serrao Secretary were present for the program.

The formal program began by invoking God’s blessings. Raoul Noronha welcomed the guests and the gathering. Fr. Ronald Cutinho addressed the gathering with his valuable words. Mr. Ashwin Kumar M is a member of the State Disaster Response Team. He began his session focusing on basics of first aid. The resource person briefed how to provide first aid in wounds, bleeding, choking, snake bites and unconsciousness. He also briefed how to perform CPR, explained different types of bandages, how to manage everyday minor accidents and how to treat an unconscious and breathing casualty.

Fr. Ronald Cutinho presented the memento to Mr. Ashwin Kumar M as a token of gratitude. Melria Saldanha proposed vote of thanks. 80 parishioners were present for the program. The program was compered by Sonali Noronha.
