Bajpe, June 2 : ICYM Bajpe unit organized the Inter-Ward Shuttle Badminton Tournament on 15th May 2022 at St. Joseph College Auditorium. ICYM Bajpe unit Director Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha, ICYM Bajpe unit Asst. Director Fr. Roshan D’cunha, Mr. Ronald D’souza Ex-President of PYO Bajpe, Mrs. Juliet Moras Secretary Parish Pastoral council, ICYM unit President Sonali Noronha and sports secretary Alexander were present for the inaugural program.

ICYM members invoked God’s blessing with a prayer song. Sonali Noronha welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha addressed the gathering with valuable words of encouragement. The guests of honor inaugurated the tournament. The inaugural program was compered by Carol Lobo. Around 80 members participated in the tournament. The members participated in the tournament with great enthusiasm.

Valedictory program commenced at 7:00pm and was presided over by Fr. Rohith D’costa Chaplain St. John Paul II Shrine, ICYM Bajpe unit Asst. Director Fr. Roshan D’cunha, Mr. Santosh Dsouza Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Juliet Moras Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, Frenita Tauro ICYM Lady animator, ICYM unit President Sonali Noronha and sports secretary Alexander were present on the dais.

As a token of gratitude mementos were given to the sponsors. Prizes were distributed to the winners and runners up of each category by the honorable guests. Ruban D’souza compered the program.

Pompei II Ward won the overall championship.
