Mangaluru, Sep 15 : In view of celebrating the feast of Exaltation of Holy Cross, the members of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (I.C.Y.M.) Cordel Unit, donated blood to Fr Muller's Blood bank on Monday,14th September 2020. The blood donation was held under the initiative of Red Drop Campaign organized by ICYM Mangalore Diocese.

Cordel church, dedicated to Holy Cross, celebrates its titular feast on 14th September every year, and holds its grand celebration the subsequent weekend. This year, as there is a rising necessity in blood requirement due to COVID-19, the members decided to celebrate the feast in a significant way, and proceeded towards donating blood for the noble cause.

Around 15 people including the parishioners participated in blood donation.

ICYM Cordel salutes the donors and expresses proud feelings for their generous deed.
