Mangaluru, Oct 5 : Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD), a premier youth association affiliated to Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Diocese of Mangalore welcomed its decennial year with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement by unveiling the new logo. The decennial logo unveil took place on Sunday, 4th October, 2020 during the 7 am mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail here. Fr. Gerald Francis Pinto - Resident priest celebrated the mass.

Fr. Austin Peter Peres - the Parish Priest and Director of YSD – ICYM, Fr. Gerald Francis Pinto, Animators Lizzie Fernandes and Jeethan Castelino along with the newly appointed President Prajwal R Sequeira and office bearers, Vice President of parish pastoral council Sheela Dsouza and Secretary of PPC Gaulbert Pais were present for the unveiling ceremony. YSD former President Ivy Melisha D’Souza gave everyone an insight about the message behind the new logo.

Animators along with the parish priest and parish council assembled all parts of the logo one by one to complete it, thus unveiling the logo. A great deal of thought and work went behind creating the new logo. The credits for designing and planning the unveiling of the beautiful logo goes to YSD PRO Ashish Carvalho and Sheldon Alvares, former Regional Representative of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. Members of YSD helped in implementing the logo design in reality.

All YSD members along with other parishioners gathered as one family for the mass and the unveiling of the new logo. This marked an excellent start for Yuva Spandan Derebail decennial year.
