ICYM Neermarga holds an event of planting saplings

Mangaluru, July 10, 2023 : ICYM unit of St Joseph The Worker Church, Neermarga organized an event of planting saplings on July 9, in the church premise after the Sunday mass.

Oshel Serrao welcomed those who were present. ICYM spiritual director and parish priest Fr Paul Pinto expressed his desire to adorn the church campus with flowering plants and thereby render it into a place to worship and glorify the almighty god.

Jeshma Saldanha handed over a sapling to the vicar who, by planting it, commenced the day's programme. Convenors of 21 pastoral commissions were called upon to plant the saplings. Finally all ICYM members planted the saplings and the programme ended.
