Vamanjoor, Sep 16 : The ICYM Vamanjoor Unit hosted a delightful event called "Novem Jevan" to celebrate The Nativity of Mother Mary, on September 10, 2023, at the Vamanjoor Church hall.

Starting at 04:00 PM, all the ICYM members happily came together to prepare the delicious food. The main purpose of this event was to unite the youth and strengthen the bonds within ICYM. It was a great opportunity for everyone to learn and grow together.

By 08:30 PM, the food preparation was completed. Later, Rev. Fr. Ivan Ashwin Dsouza - Assistant Priest and Assistant Director of ICYM, led everyone in a prayer and blessed the Novem. The Novem Jevan featured 5 food items, and each ICYM member had a role in making them. The menu included Alu Dento, Karamb, Sone, Gosale, Moong curry, as well as servings of Idli, Rice, and Payasam.

In total, there were about 30 members who enthusiastically participated in the Novem Jevan celebration, bringing joy and unity to the ICYM community.
