Mangaluru, Dec 31 : During this season of joy, ICYM unit of St Joseph Church, Vamanjoor celebrated Christmas and welcomed Jesus with happiness and joy.

The members of ICYM Vamanjoor unit organized following events :

1) From 5/12/2022 to 18/12/2022, ICYM members visited each and every house in the parish along with the band troop singing hymns and carols, sharing gifts and seeking blessings. Rev Fr. Ashwin Crasta accompanied them during this wonderful event.

2) On Christmas Eve after the festive mass, they conducted "housie- housie" game for all the parishioners & winners were awarded with cash prizes and cakes.

3) On the same Eve, they also conducted "Christmas cake" auction which was done for the purpose of fundraising for the unit.

4) On 25th December, all the members of the unit participated in "Christmas Santa " event where everyone revealed their secret Christmas friend and exchanged their gifts.

5) On 19/12/2022, ICYM members along with the parish pastoral committee organized "Christa Namana"- a rally to spread the happiness of the season . It was held at Moodushedde in the beginning covering Vamanjoor & ended at Neermarga. in the end Christmas "kuswar" was distributed to all gathered .
