Mangaluru, March 27“Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways, it can change someone else’s life forever.”

ICYM Paldane  conducted a one day  Orphanage visit  on  22 March 2023 , Wednesday.  They began their day at 10:30 by visiting Shanthi Vihar , an old age home  managed by  Apostatic Carmel Sisters located across the  Paldane church. While they began their meeting by  a general introduction and   Prayer session , all the members of the old age home introduced themselves to the  youths.

With the game of housie housie, they created a fun little environment for all gathered around. At around 11:45 am they all accompanied the members of the old age home for a small Way of the Cross and prayer hour after which they bid farewell to everyone.

After having a heart filled lunch they headed to their destination No. 2 - The Jeevadhan , a home for beautiful young smiles. They were greeted by the sisters and young girls of all age groups. With determination and hopes to bring smiles on these little faces , they conducted numerous games such as musical chair, bomb in the city , balloon tennis etc . The smiles and cheers shown by those kids became a huge encouragement to all the youths around.

They ended their day with some snacks and action songs. By bringing smiles on all of those people's faces , as youths they pray everyone around the world be happy and safe and hope they could make a small difference for at least 1% of the needy.
