Mangaluru, Aug 13 : Young people from all over Karnataka from the East and West, Indians and Italians gathered together in the portals of Capitanio Educational Institutions for a day of International Youth convention called by Sisters of Charity of Mangalore Province on 12th August, 2018. The Mega Youth with the motto “Be The Change” began with refreshment, prayer and sing songs.

A talk by Mr Joel Concesso, testimony by Jesus Youth Mr Anand John, the Holy Eucharist by Fr Ivan D’Souza and Fr Fabio all were based on the theme. Youth were urged to bring about change in oneself, in others and in the society. Lots of sing songs, variety of activities, presentation of the documentary on the charitable works of “Sisters of Charity” were presented to the youth. This was followed by cultural event by the youth themselves.

Before the conclusion Sr Matilda Monterio, the Provincial Superior delivered a message to go the world with the light of the Word, presenting the Bible as a memento to the youth. The day turned out to be memorable and enriching one.
