Mangaluru, Jan 14 : Cascia High School, Jeppu here celebrated Platinum Jubilee on 13th January 2023.

Fr. Eric Crasta, Correspondent of the high school welcomed the guest of honour and the others. He also briefly introduced the chief guest and guests of honour.

The top academic performers of SSLC – Varun, Sujan Bhide and Tushara were honored. The school also honoured Rajya Puraskar performer guides , NCC cadet Srinidhi and cultural performer Sudamshu Dongre. The high school management also honoured the main donors of the school and Platinum Jubilee Celebration especially Mr Santosh Sequeira - M/D Santosh Arrangers Kankanady and old student Trunja - Managing Director Pooja Petrochemicals Limited, Mumbai. President of old students association, Ramakrishna Balkrishna was felicitated for his generous financial assistant.

The chief guest Swami Jitakamanadaji in his message stressed values of social living . He also stressed education must impart and breed these values in the students so that a better society can be built.

Secretary, Catholic Board of Education and President of the program Father Antony Shera highlighted the important contribution made by the founder of the school Msgr. F.X. Fernandes and stressed the importance of the education of the youngsters.

Administration ; Mr HR Ishwar - B.E.O Mangalore south ; Mr Prema Nanda - Chief whip Mangalore City Corporation; Smt. Bhanumathi - Corporator 58 ward Mangalore City Corporation; Mr. T.R Pooja - Managing Director Pooja Petrochemicals Limited Mumbai; Mr Santosh Sequeira - M/D Santosh Arrangers Kankanady; Mr. Ashok Fernandes - Vice President Church PPP and Mr. Subhash President - old student's association.

Vote of thanks was delivered by the Headmaster. Program ended with colourful entertainment. Whole program was compered by Mrs. Rita Pinto.
