Mangaluru, Sep 4, 2021 : On the 75th Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was organized at St. Dominic Church, Ashoknagar at 8.45 am by the Ashonagar ICYM unit after the Konkani mass. ICYM members took the responsibility of holy mass Liturgy.

Master of ceremony Vinol Pinto welcomed the chief guest of the occasion, Mr Maxim Crasta, Vice president of Parish council. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Daniel Veigas, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Dileep Veigas, Secretary of Parish Council, Mrs. Noreen Pinto and the Ashoknagar ICYM Unit Animator Mrs. Deborah Locker, President Miss. Jean and Miss Preethisha decorated the dais with their humble presence.

The Flag hoisting was done by Fr Daniel Veigas and chief guest Maxim Crasta, followed by paying respect to the nation by the singing of the National Anthem. The chief guest and the Parish Priest Rev Fr. Daniel Veigas gave meaningful messages to the members.

A vote of thanks was delivered by Vinol Pinto. The program concluded with the Master of ceremony signing off.
