Mangaluru, Dec 1 : St. Theresa’s School – Primary section grade 1 – 5 celebrated their Annual Day in the school ground on Tuesday 29 November, 2022.

The Chief Guest of the day Shri Abhay Dhanpal Chougala, the Principal Judge, Family Court, Mangalore and the President for the day Rev Sr Rose Celine BS, Superior of the Bethany Congregation were escorted by the school band along with the Correspondent of the school Sr Shaila BS and the Principal Sr Lourdes BS to the venue.

The other dignitaries present were Rev Fr Vincent Monteiro the Parish priest of St. Sebastian Church Bendur, Sr Shanthi Priya BS, the Vice President of BES, Sr. Sandhya BS the Secretary of BES.

The programme commenced with the serene performance by grade l students as they glorified and praised God through the prayer dance.

The students were delighted to offer the most hospitable welcome by greeting all the guests with a flower sapling and melodiously singing in all the languages that they could.

The magic of happiness spread as the Grade III students creatively spread the message of happiness depicting the child’s fantasy.

Grade lV students took the audience around the techno world giving an Insight as to how technology has made our life easier and comfortable.

Grade V students raised the programme to the heights through a grand finale presenting how St Theresa’s School imparts education with appropriate technology to elucidate values in students, who will make this world a beautiful place to live in.

One of the highlights of the celebration was honouring the ICSE Toppers for the year 2021-22, National Athlete and the NCC Sergeant.

The Chief Guest in his message said students should be given a chance to participate in the extracurricular activities and the school needs friendliness and discipline to balance the students educational life.

Rev Sr Rose Celine addressed the gathering and said multiple intelligence makes every child intelligent in one way or the other.

The school ground reverberated with the soul stirring audience. The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. After three hours of grand performances by the students, the program ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs Gwen Rodrigues.
