Mangaluru, Aug 22 : Konkani Manyata Divas was celebrated at  St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia on Sunday , 20 August 2023. Eucharistic mass was celebrated at 6.30am by Asst parish priest Fr Vijay Monterio. To mark the day, Flag hoisting was held after the mass. The Chief Guest for the program was Steevan Quadras, Associate professor of history at government first grade college for women, Puttur. The Konkani Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest. A beautiful Konkani song was sung by the members of the Choir to mark the importance of Konkani Day.

Fr Roque DSa Parish Priest , Fr Vijay Monterio Asst parish priest , Parish council vice-president Ronald Rodrigues, Secretary Rita Menezes, Steevan Rodrigues - Coordinator of  commissions and parishioners were present on the occasion. 'Jackfruit Patholi' was served to all. Dolphy Saldanha compered the program.
