Mangaluru, June 20 : On June 18, 2023, the Centenary Hall of Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa was filled with the spirit of learning and community as 154 people from 10 parishes of the Episcopal Deanery gathered for SCC group training workshop. Rev. Fr Benjamin Pinto, Parish Priest of Urwa and the director of SCC Episcopal Deanery organised this program.

The workshop was led by Rev. Fr. Joachim Fernandes, the director of the SCC-Mangalore Diocese. With his guidance, participants explored the 7 steps used in Small Christian Community ward meetings, gaining new insights and inspiration for their own communities.

The workshop ended with the fellowship meal.
