Puttur, Sep 18 : ICYM Bannur unit celebrated “Teachers’ Day “ on 1st September 2019 at St Anthony’s Church hall, Bannur near here. The program began with a prayer song.

Rev Fr. Antony Prakash Montiero - Professor of St. Philomena collage Puttur along with Inas Gonsalves - Vice President , Wilma Gonsalves – Secretary Parish Pastoral Council , Roshan Gonsalves President ICYM Bannur unit were the dignitaries on the dais and inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Dignitaries delivered their message for the day.

Entertainment and activities were conducted by ICYM member to all the teachers . Fr. Antony Prakash Montiero delivered his special talk addressing the teachers. Mementos were given as token of love and respect and all the teachers were honoured florally. Smt. Eliz Dsouza and Smt. Aasis Lobo, the most senior teachers were felicitated for their great service.

Roshan Gonsalves welcomed the guests and the gathering. Cleeta Gonsalves - Secretary ICYM Bannur Unit proposed a vote of thanks and Rachel Dsouza compered the programme. 30 teachers were present for the event.
