Puttur, Jan 4 : Bandhutva Christmas was celebrated at Mai De Deus Church, Puttur on 25th December 2023. The programme began at 5.30 pm with a prayer dance by Young Christian Students.

V. Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the parish priest welcomed the gathering. Most Rev. Dr Gheeverghees Mar Makkarios - Bishop of Puttur Diocese, Mr Ashok Kumar Rai - MLA Puttur Constituency, Mr Mohammad Badagannur - Former President Taluk Panchayath Puttur, Prof. Subbappa Kaikamba - Principal, Govt. first grade college Uppinangady, Rev. Vijaya Harvin - Correspondent, Sudana institutions, Mr Girish Nandan - Assistant Commissioner Puttur, Mr Madhu Manohar - CMC Commissioner Puttur, Mr Sunil Kumar - Police station officer Puttur were present for the programme as the chief guests.

Various Christmas based cultural programmes were orchestrated.
