Puttur, Aug 24 : ICYM Kokkada observed Youth Sunday & Independence Day with meaningful activities.

Youth Sunday :

On the occasion of Youth Sunday on 14th August 2022 , ICYM Kokkada unit members conducted the liturgy for the mass. First reading was read by Sharon Pais, Psalm by ICYM Kokkada unit president Vanditha Lobo and second reading by ICYM secretary Priya Rishal Rego. The prayers were read by ICYM members - Lavina D'souza, Joyson Galbao, Vilcita Montiero, Smith, Preena Montiero and Melvika Lobo.

After the mass , ICYM unit organised church surrounding cleaning which was done in the presence of ICYM unit Animator Jayanth D'souza.

75th Independence Day :

On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, ICYM Kokkada unit organized Shramadhan on 9th August 2022. In the presence of ICYM Puttur deanery president Wilma Viyola Lobo and unit president Vanditha Lobo, they cleaned the surrounding of the national emblem pillar and painted the same. 9 members participated in the Shramadhan.
