Puttur, Aug 8 : "Vanamahotsav" celebration at St. John the Baptist Church,  Kokkada was organised by ICYM  Kokkada unit in association with Commission for Environment  on August 6th 2023. The program held after the morning mass,  in front of  the church premises.

The parish priest Fr. Jagadish Pinto, Sister Elizabeth, forest department officer Sandeep C. K. and Guard  Rajesh as resource persons,  the vice president of parish council Praveen Noel Montheiro and secretary  Veena Madtha, ICYM Animator Jayanth D'Souza,  ICYM President Pradeep D'souza, and the members of ICYM were present for this program.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the parishioners and to guests by the host Sahana Mariya D'Souza and vote of thanks was done by animator Jayanth D'Souza.

All the ICYM members and the Environment Commission collaborated seamlessly and actively participated in the planting and distribution of fruit plants.
