Puttur, Dec 14 : On the occasion of Christmas, ICYM unit of St John the Baptist Church, Kokkada conducted Annual Sports Meet 2022-23 to all parishioners on 11th December 2022. ICYM Kokkada Unit President Vanditha Lobo welcomed the gathering. The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp in the presence of ICYM Director Rev Fr. Jagadish Pinto, Fr. Ashok D'souza, Parish Vice President Lawrence Pais, Secretary Praveen Noel Monteiro, ICYM President Vanditha Lobo and ICYM Secretary Priya Rishal Rego.

Parishioners were divided into six teams based on their wards. The event began with March Past. ICYM members conducted several games for all age groups.

ICYM Mangalore Diocese Director Rev Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza , President Mr Anil John Sequeira , Secretary Dr. Nishal Preemal D'souza, Nominated Member Mr. Sushanth Samson Fernandes and Treasurer Mr. Frayal also graced the event.

Morning breakfast and noon meal was provided to all the parishioners. The winners were awarded with the medals. All the parishioners actively participated in the games.
