Narampady Church dedicated to St. John De Britto is situated on the Badiadka-Mulleria route, about 10 km from Badiadka which is 6kms east of Kasaragod. This Roman Catholic Church was established in 1942.
Inauguration and Blessing of new Presbytery :
Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated and blessed the new residence of parish priest of St John De Britto church on December 14, 2019.
The holy Eucharistic Mass that was offered on the occasion was led by Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha. Kasargod zonal vicar vara and parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church Bela Fr John Vaz, rector of Mangalore seminary Fr Ronald Serrao, parish priest of Narampady church Fr John Baptist Moras and priests of Kasargod zone and diocese took part in the celebration.
Bishop Saldanha presided over the stage programme that was held after the Mass. Fr John Vaz, Fr Ronald Serrao, Fr John Baptist Moras, superior of convent Sr Helen, and others were present.
Chief donors of the residential building were felicitated on the occasion. The labourers who worked for the construction of the residential building and others who helped were also honoured on the occasion.
