Manjeshwar, Dec 10 : “Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? The opportunity to play” - Mike Singletary

ICYM unit of Our Lady Of Mercy Church , Manjeshwar conducted MPL SEASON 3 (Manjeshwar Premier League) for parishioners on 27th November and 4th December 2022.

The event began with the stage programme in the presence of ICYM Director Rev. Fr. Edwin Pinto, Church Vice President Wilfred Dsouza, ICYM President Stallon Dsouza, ICYM Secretary Neema Dsilva, ICYM Sports secretary Anish Monteiro.

The event commenced at 10:30 am with prayer, followed by the inauguration.

There were 5 teams altogether:
1. MJR FLOATERS
2. V CRICKETERS
3. FALCON WARRIORS
4. KING RIDERS
5. CHURCH CRICKETERS

MJR FLOATERS, the winners of MPL SEASON 3 won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and the runners up V CRICKETERS won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.7,000.

The event was a grand success with active participation of all teams.

ICYM would love to thank all the well wishers. Overall, everything went on very well & it was indeed a great experience for all.
