Moodbidri, Oct 10 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement Sampige unit in association with Indian Red Cross Society Blood Bank and Red Drop Mangalore organised a blood donation camp on October 9,2022  at Sampige church hall.

The camp commenced  at 9.30am . Rev. Fr. Nelson Olivera - Director of ICYM Sampige unit and Animator Vipin Fernandes, the parish council vice president Richard Cardoza, secretary Wilfred Misquith inaugurated  the camp along  with Dr. Keerthi, Red Cross Society. ICYM  Moodbidri Secretary Joyston, ICYM Mangalore diocese vice president Winston Sequeira were present on the dais.

The program began with a prayer song led by Priya Dsouza  and then dignitaries on the dais inaugurated the event with lighting the lamp. ICYM president Preema Misquith welcomed the gathering. The inaugural function was compered by Nishal Dsilva.

Approximately  60 members  registered for blood donation, but only 48 members were  eligible to donate blood and made it a successful one.
