Moodbidri, Mar 19 : “Voting is the expression of our commitment to ourselves, one another, this country and this world”- Sharon Salzberg

In view of the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections of Karnataka state, ICYM Moodbidri Unit organised a ‘Voter ID registration drive’ on 19th March 2023 at Corpus Christi church hall from 9am to 12am.

Parishioners of Moodbidri parish took this opportunity to register themselves on the electoral roll to cast their votes in the upcoming elections. Also, corrections to the voter IDs were made. Around 35 applications for new and corrections were submitted under this initiative by ICYM Moodbidri Unit.

This programme was held under the guidance of Parish priest V.Rev.Onil Dsouza and ICYM Animators Mr. Kevin Dsouza and Mr. Royston Pinto.

ICYM unit President Vijoy Cardoza, Secretary Josna Fernandes along with 15 members supported the success of this event.
