Moodbidri, July 14 : ICYM unit of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Shirthady celebrated World Environment Day on July 9th, 2023 at Mount Carmel Church Shirthady . ICYM Shirthady Unit President Ms. Flany Nikhitha Martis, Secretary Ms. Leonna Jizelle Dcosta along with other ICYM members planted the sampling at the church premises. The event was organized to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment. ICYM Shirthady Unit Animator Mr. Wilfred Pinto, Parish council vice-president Mr. Herald Dsilva, Parish Environment committee coordinator Mr. Justin Rodrigues and about 15 youths were present for this programme.
