Moodbidri, Dec 30 : ICYM Hospet Unit enthusiastically celebrated Christmas with parishioners on the evening of December 24, 2023, at the Holy Cross Church premises following the Holy Eucharistic ceremony.

The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Gregory D’Souza - Parish Priest, Holy Cross Church Hospet; Rev. Fr. Cyril Cutinha, Rev. Fr. Frederick Braggs; Mr. Manohar Cutinha – Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council; Mr. Vincent Santhmayor - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council; and Christon Serra - Unit President, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.

The festive celebration featured a dance performance by members of ICYM and YCS, followed by an entertaining housie-housie game organized by ICYM members for the parishioners. A lucky draw for a Christmas cake added excitement to the celebration. The entire parish enjoyed the Christmas Eve festivities, with Renita D’Souza and Winston Joel Sequeira serving as the comperes for the program.

Christmas Trophy

On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, the ICYM Hospet Unit Organized ‘Christmas Trophy’, a cricket tournament on 25th December 2023, at 2.30 PM at Holy Cross Church ground, Hospet.

Approximately 50 players took part in the cricket tournament, and the event was a success, with active participation from the parishioners.
