Moodbidri, Jan 2 : New Year 2024 was welcomed with devotion & joy at at St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura, Murkoth Palke on the eve of 31st December 2023.

The celebration started with Thanksgiving Adoration at 7pm, led by parish pastoral council members. The Choir sang melodious hymns making the liturgy meaningful.

The adoration was followed by Holy Mass where Rev Fr Rohan Dias was the main celebrant who preached a meaningful homily. Parish priest Rev Fr Noel Mascarenhas, Rev Fr Maxim Dsouza and Rev Fr Vivek Colaco concelebrated.

Parish Priest Fr. Noel thanked the parishioners for their help in celebrating new year liturgy meaningfully and wished all a happy new year.

The parishioners exchanged new year greetings after the mass. Cake and juice was served to the gathering.
