Moodbidri, Nov 13 : ICYM unit of St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura organised "Sports Day" for parishioners on Sunday, 12th November 2023 after the morning mass.

Various competitions and games were conducted for children in the morning till noon as part of the Children's Day celebration. Breakfast and lunch was arranged for the children.

From noon till evening, various games were conducted for the youth and elders. Entertaining games like tug of war, pulling the jeep, treasure hunt, running with the gunny bag, breaking the pot etc., were very delightful. The day ended with an exciting cricket match.

Parish priest Rev Fr Noel Mascarenhas was present and motivated the parishioners throughout the games. Truly it was a memorable day with the effort of ICYM members.
