Mangaluru : Catholics appeal to the Chancellor not to curtail holidays during Christmas and New Year

Mangaluru, Dec 6, 2023 : For the past 150 years, since the time of Madras University, the educational institutions of Coastal Karnataka have enjoyed the privilege of Christmas and New Year holidays. But this year, under the leadership of ex-MLC Ivan Dsouza, Allwyn Dsouza, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) met the Chancellor of Mangalore University , discussed the matter and submitted a request from Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh not to curtail the holidays during Christmas and New Year.

Marcel Monteiro, former PRO of Mangalore Diocese and Francis Monteiro, Treasurer of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) were present on this occasion.
