Belagavi, Dec 18, 2021 : A Protest was organised in front of Suvarna Vidhana Soudha Belagavi against the proposed anti conversion bill to be passed by the BJP led state government.

Bishop of Belgaum Most Rev Derek Fernandes, leader of the opposition and former chief minister of Karnataka Shri Siddaramaiah, former minister and present MLA Shri K J George, former MLC and AICC secretary Shri Ivan Dsouza, youth congress presidents Shri Raksha Ramaiah, Shri Nalapad, MLC Rathod, MLA and former minister Shri Satish Jarkiholi, Mahila congress president Smt Pushpa Amarnath, Methodist church district chairman along with leaders, pastors from all over Karnataka participated in the protest.
