Shivamogga, Feb 25 : Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Parish, Kargal in the diocese celebrated "Exaltation of the Cross" feast at "Shilubeya Betta" on February 24, 2020.

At 5:30pm, parishioners led the Divine Mercy chaplet at the Cross. Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing prayer and blessed the faithful.

At 6:30pm, Fr Franklin D'Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady Assumption Church, Hiriyur, offered the festal mass. In his homily he spoke about the meaning of the Cross and its implications in our Christian lives.

Parish Priest Fr Clarence Dias and Fr Anthony Nazareth, Parish Priest of Talaguppa concelebrated in the Eucharist.

Parish Priest Fr Clarence Dias thanked Fr Franklin D'Souza and all those who helped for the success of the feast. Food was served to all.
