Shivamogga, Feb 25 : Diocese of Shimoga celebrated "Consecrated Day" at Snehabhavan, Sacred Heart Cathedral campus  here on 21st February 2020. It is the initiative of the Diocese of Shimoga to acknowledge and appreciate the service rendered by religious men and women in the Diocese.

Monsignor Felix Noronha, Vicar General of the Diocese of Shimoga welcomed the gathering and introduced the recollection preacher to the gathering. Fr Dominic Vaz, OCD, Director of Dhyanavana, Mysore preached the recollection and shared a homily during the mass. In his talk, he Inspired the gathering about the role of the religious and spirituality.

Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, offered the Holy Eucharist.

After the mass, some games were organized and Fr Arul SJ led the games. All winners were awarded by the Bishop.

In his address, Bishop Francis Serrao appreciated the service of religious rendered in the Diocese. He also felicitated jubilarians.

Fr Jerome D'souza OCD thanked everyone. Fr Nelson D'Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Hiriyur compered the program.
