Inauguration and Blessing of Bethany Convent at Narayanpur, UP

Sultanpur, UP, July 15 : 20th June 2019 brought with it a gift very precious for which the sisters of SMC Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh had been longing.

Their dream was cherished when a new community called Bethany Convent, Narayanpur was installed. It was indeed a dream come true.

The building was blessed & inaugurated by Fr. John Lobo, Parish Priest of St. Paul’s Church, Sultanpur. Sr. Shaila the Provincial Superior cut the ribbon which proceeded with Holy Eucharist.

There was a short felicitation where the Provincial Superior welcomed the members Sr. Rosalia the Superior, Sr. Shamitha the Principal, Sr. Marie Jean and Sr. Balbeena to their blessed new community residence, Bethany Convent Narayanpur.

Parishners and priests were invited to witness and share the great joyful day of the sisters of Bethany Convent, Narayanpur.

Indeed Bethany has grown and flowered as it is flourished. Bethany thanks their founder for his intercession & blessing on them.
