Mangaluru, Sep 15 : Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Rosario English medium higher primary school on 5th September 2022 in the Rosario cultural hall, which provided the students an opportunity to manifest their appreciation towards their teachers for the dedication, accomplishments and services rendered in the school to shape the young minds to be a better citizen of this world.

The program began by invoking God’s blessings through lighting the lamp and Fr. Vinod Lobo the Administrator and Mrs. Mevis Serro the Headmistress came forward to light the lamp.

Mrs. Roopa Nayak was the master of the ceremony and she welcomed all the teachers for this special occasion which was organized by Mrs. Roopa, Sir Premraj, Sr. Rani and students.

It was followed by a prayer dance by the students. Miss. Zuman from standard 7 read the significance of the day. Then students performed dances, songs and skits to entertain their teachers because it shows that each child feels grateful for being in the mentor's hand. Then Fr. Vinod Lobo conducted games and all the teachers received a gift. It was a wonderful day with so much fun and laughter.

On September 6th , the correspondent hosted the gathering for the teachers and delivered the gifts as a token of appreciation for their services for the school. It was concluded with the high tea.
