"Peace on earth will come to stay, when we live Christmas everyday"

The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. Spreading the message of love and good cheer St. Agnes CBSE School celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2021 which began with morning assembly prayer service with the significant message that Christmas is all about giving and being generous. It is a festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

An array of interesting competitions were conducted for the students grade I- Xth like Angel and Santa Claus fancy dress, Christmas card making, Christmas Wreath, Christmas tree out of waste, Christmas Star and live Crib with carols.

All class notice boards were decorated by the students with the theme of Christmas which inculcated the values of sharing caring and helping each other. Every student from grade I to X were dressed in their best with the Christmas theme of colours – red, white, green with different symbols. The students brilliantly presented melodious Christmas carols with the live crib. The children were filled with joy and exhilaration as Santa Claus came dancing to the tune of Jingle Bells. It really made the ambiance pleasant and exuberant.

The children carried the message of sharing and caring as well as the true spirit of the celebration when they returned back to home.

The management also planned a Christmas merriment for teachers and non-teaching staff. The teachers brilliantly presented melodious Christmas carols with the tableau of birth of Jesus Christ. To entertain the audience, interesting games were conducted. Unexpected surprises unlimited happiness with a big wide smile. There was a surprise ceremony of choosing a Christmas friend and reading out the message to each other.

Santa Claus mingled with the audience and amused everyone with charm which taught everyone to keep the child within us always alive and make sure that we add a little of that element in everything we are doing.

This was the best way to come to the end of the year and welcome another one with outstretched arms. A beautiful Christmas set up was well coordinated by teachers Philomena and Mishel.
