Mangaluru, Dec 13 : "When you see a good move, look for a better one."

Yes indeed, Master Anshul Panicker, a student of class VI of Mount Carmel Central School looked for a better move, when he saw a good one and hence he emerged as a winner in the Torpedoes Rashmi Shetti Memorial All India Fide Rated Rapid Chess Tournament 2021 held on December 11th and 12th, bagging the 1st place U-11 category. His younger brother Ahan Panicker of class I won the 8th place U-7 category. The Tournament was organised by Torpedoes Sports Club.

Anshul and Ahan are the children of Sathish and Vani Panicker of Konchady, Mangaluru.

The school management, principal, staff and students congratulate Anshul and Ahan for their excellent performance in Chess and wish them good luck in their future events.
