Mangaluru, July 2, 2021 : 'Helpage' - as the word itself indicates us, it helps the aged, since its inception. Helpage tries to ease the life of the aged people. Thus it works for the elderly in various ways. It intervenes in the difficult conditions, where the elderly are facing, be it individual or the societal. Thus it takes keen interest in providing a little comfort in the evening of the life of people. So the Helpage in for and wide works in vulnerable situations.

Today due to Corona Virus (Covid 19), people are facing the problem of livelihood and are unable to feed themselves, as there is lack of job, due to lock down and suffering. The elderly are the people who are most neglected sector in the society. So the Helpage has come forward to ease the life of the elderly by providing them food kits, by which they will get a little bit of comfort and also they would feel that there is someone who thinks about these people.

The Helpage all over India works to provide food for the elderly in the old-age homes and in the elderly in their own homes. The Helpage Bangalore has been always kind enough to provide some help or the other to the residents of St. Joseph Prashanth Nivas, Jeppu and also the Spandana Trust, Jeppu, wherever and whenever possible. During this pandemic time, the people face lots of problems and specially the elderly are the victims of this. At this situation Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Helpage Bangalore has come forward to provide food kits to the people of St. Joseph Prashanth Nivas and the elderly of the locality of Jeppu.

The beneficiaries are extremely grateful to Mr. Prakashan, programme officer, Helpage Bangalore for making this possible.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು , Jul 2 : ಮಹಾಮಾರಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಲವು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗಲು ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಾದ ದಿನಸಿ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೆಲ್ಪೇಜ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರೊಗ್ರ್ಯಾಮ್ ಒಫೀಸರ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೆರೀಸ್ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟಿನ, ಸೈಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನಿವಾಸ್ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 250 ದಿನಸಿ ಕಿಟ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಹೆಲ್ಪೇಜ್ ಇಂಡಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ, ಸೈಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ನಿವಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪಂದನಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡುಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದಿನಸಿ ಕಿಟ್‍ನಲ್ಲೂ ಅಕ್ಕಿ, ತೊಗರಿ ಬೇಳೆ, ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಸಕ್ಕರೆ, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಎಣ್ಣೆ, ಸೋಪ್, ಅರಸಿನ ಹುಡಿ, ಸಾಂಬಾರ್ ಹುಡಿ, ಪಿನಾಯಿಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ಜನರಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಒಂದುವರೆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಬಳಸಬಹುದಾದ ದಿನಸಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಕಿಟ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಹೆಲ್ಪೇಜ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರೊಗ್ರ್ಯಾಮ್ ಒಫೀಸರ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ್, ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೆರೀಸ್ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಭಗಿನಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಿಯಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, ಸ್ಪಂದನಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಭಗಿನಿ ಹೆಲೆನ್ ಪೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟರ್ ಜೆಸಿಂತಾ ಆಲ್ಫ್ರೆಡ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಡೊರತಿ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ವಿಕ್ಟರ್ ವಾಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
